SKÚLIN Á FLØTUM HUGTEKUR MICROSOFT
Microsoft umrøðir fjarundirvísingina hjá Skúlanum á Fløtum. Tey hava tosað við Martin Karl, Oddfríð og eisini við Emmu Næs Djurhus, sum gongur í 8.ð í eindini á Argjum. Lesarin fer at varnast, at onkrar smávegis faktuellar misskiljingar eru í greinini, men tær spilla tó ikki góða boðskapin.
Tey siga m.a. soleiðis:
Across the globe, teachers, students, and parents are dealing with a new reality: how to adapt to an educational environment that has moved from the classroom to the internet. As in many countries, the remote Faroe Islands, more than 300 kilometers off the coast of Scotland in the North Sea, has found the lives of its 52,000 citizens suddenly changed. That includes its education system
Twelve-year-old Emma Næs Djurhuus is one of 900 students at Skúlin á Fløtum Elementary School in the capital city of Tórshavn. Denmark. Like so many students across the world, Emma is no longer attending classes in person.
“School is closed right now,” she says from the front room of her parents’ house, which she now occupies every day with her brother, mother, and father.
But despite the circumstances, Skúlin á Fløtum has devised a way for students like Emma to stay connected with their teachers and with each other, ensuring they continue to learn from a distance.
